In the heartland of this World Natural Heritage site, there are several recognized "extreme test fields" in the off-road circle - the soft and loose sand can easily trap the wheels, the 100-meter sand dunes stands upright like a wall, and the continuous deep gullies are interlaced. This is the ultimate proving ground to reveal the mettle of rugged pickup trucks.

In order to pass the desert performance acceptance of the Changan Hunter K70 and secure the key node of the vehicle development, the project director led the off-road performance team into the core of the desert, launched a tough desert-specific verification campaign, and finally successfully meet / satisfy the 0R3 desert off-road performance standard. Through real and extreme tests, they firmly established a solid mark for the product quality.

The verification of Badain Jaran is never a mere show of strength by driving through the sand. Instead, it is a comprehensive and rigorous test under all working conditions, including high temperatures, shifting sands, and long, steep slopes.

The project director is stationed at the front line to supervise the work, setting clear goals for the team: to completely eliminate the remaining issues from the previous desert test, and to meticulously adjust each core module such as chassis control, sand power output, high-temperature heat management, and extreme escape logic. All optimizations and rectifications are closely aligned with the real vehicle usage pain points of off-road users, aiming to make the vehicle truly suitable for the complex and variable overall sand conditions of Badain Jaran.

During the critical days, "efficiency first" was the principle engraved into the team's rhythm. They entered a round-the-clock combat mode, traveling back and forth between core off-road landmarks such as Beritu Peak, Nijukuo, and Baile Dao for continuous testing, collecting real-time data on power, chassis, thermal management, and other comprehensive working conditions. After running on the sandy road, they gathered around to review the data, discuss optimization plans, and determine the direction for the next day's adjustments. They through efficient execution.

Deep in the sandy sea, the R&D personnel from various specialties, such as chassis, power, electronic control, and thermal management, united as one.

Facing technical challenges such as vehicles getting stuck in soft sand, continuous high temperatures increasing the load of the entire vehicle, and difficult control of the vehicle's posture under the huge sand pots, they braved the endless sandstorms and endured the day-night temperature differences, disassembled the remaining faults one by one, repeatedly adjusted parameters, and conducted real vehicle re-tests for verification. Everyone stayed at the front line, striving for excellence, leaving no unresolved issues and maintaining the same performance standards.

After a series of continuous and intense trials, the Chang'an Hunter K70 completed all problem verification and closed the test in the entire Badain Jaran area. The logic of sandy terrain driving, instantaneous power response, vehicle stability control, and high-temperature durability performance were all upgraded comprehensively, successfully achieving the OR3 performance standard for desert off-road.
